Straight answers
Is it free for me?
Yes. The profile, the search visibility and the requests cost you nothing. QA Board is run by Quality Island as part of its work for the QA community in Poland.
Can a company contact me without my consent?
No, and it is not a matter of good will. The public data simply does not contain your contact details, and the function that releases them refuses to work until you accept a request and Quality Island approves it.
Can I withdraw?
At any time from your account. You can hide the profile, withdraw consent to data processing and delete everything. That is your right under the GDPR and how the platform is built.
Do I need a CV?
No. The point of a competency profile is that it describes what you can do, in a form a company can actually filter, instead of a document you have to keep rewriting.
